1. Join CanadianMusicians.com
To get your music on CMR, you must first become a member of CanadianMusicians.com This will then enable you to efficiently manage your presence on CanadianMusicians.com and submit your music to our streamed radio services. It’s a great way to get national exposure, find paying gigs, upload your music and videos, garner a potentially huge fan network, to widen your live audience through our event management tools… and much more.
2. Submit Your Tracks
We love music, and we understand that there are many excellent records out there just waiting to be discovered. We listen to everything we receive.
Once you've submitted your song(s), we will e-mail you to notify you of the date and time that your song(s) will be broadcast so that your fans, friends and family can listen to it. Please read the submission requirements before sending your tracks.
3. Be Heard
We monitor our web traffic while playing your song(s). If we notice that lots of people are listening to them, we will play them again, and we may also promote you and your songs in the “Feature of The Month” artist /band for “Best Original Song(s)”. And the more you're listened to, the more you get paid! In addition, our Player is designed to give you the full exposure needed. Listeners can click on the "buy CD" button and buy your CD online, or the "Artist info" button to search google for your website. The more you’re played, the more your music is promoted through the network.
4. Get Paid Royalties
We at Canadian Music Radio believe in giving back to our members for their creative work. We encourage you to become a member of SOCAN because when we play your song(s) on our Live Streamed Radio, we pay SOCAN a “performing rights royalty”, and SOCAN pays YOU! 5. Live Report
Once the submission process has been completed, we'll also send you a link where you can see the response to your music on the airwaves instantly. You can check the progress of your song's listener numbers yourself in real time with real-time airplay stats.
