Earlier, we told you that CMR would soon allow artists to upload their music to our online radio station. We are here to break the news that it is now ready!
This is your chance to get your music on to one of the most popular online Canadian radio stations, Canadian Music Radio, and take advantage of some of the best marketing you could possibly get for your music.

Exposure Expansion Project
In an effort to assist emerging Canadian bands and artists launch and further their careers, CMR has created an initiative to expand exposure opportunities. Bands and artists can submit their work to us via the SONG UPLOADER. In doing this, their song will be listed on the CMR “Songs On Demand” section of the website. While at the SONG UPLOADER, there are other options for exposure as well.

WE LISTEN. We love music, and we understand that many excellent recordings are out there just waiting to be discovered. We do our best to listen to everything that we receive.

WE DECIDE. Sadly, we cannot play every song that we receive. Our senior music analysts (who are all excellent musicians and artists themselves) are responsible for evaluating all submissions.

LISTENING FEE – As we receive several submissions and as it takes time to evaluate each song, we can only guarantee a song be evaluated in consideration for radio play on CMR Live Radio if we are able to pay our staff to do it. This fee is minor and you will receive an email once the song has been evaluated, letting you know if it’s been approved for radio play or not. If it is not, you will be given an explanation as to why. This is valuable information to bands and artists who are serious about making it in the music industry.

CONTEST – CMR often has a contest running. If a band or artist is interested in submitting their song for the contest, this is a simple process as the necessary information is already filled out. Contest fee is according to the particular contest running at the time. Next contest will be announced soon.
